It was a treat to have visiting flautist Grégoire Jeay show off his nimble way with the wonderfully mellow sound of a Baroque transverse flute.

We therefore noticed Grégoire Jeay (even more spectacular in the Bourrées than in the Badinerie of the Suite) at least as much as Benjamin Alard and the encore, a reprise of the Menuet of the Suite, rather than a movement of a harpsichord concerto which would have given the distinguished guest the opportunity to shine a little more, did everything to convince us.
